The Dance of Shiva has eight basic opportunities for each arm. In some of these positions, the claws are horizontal. These are identified as “Horizontal Positions. ” Inside other four positions, often the palm faces outwards. These are called “Vertical Positions. The client’s Horizontal Positions are called just one, 2, 3, and 5—the Vertical Positions are known as A, B, and C in addition to D.
The goal of the Flow of Shiva is to figure out how to connect these positions. You need about three “Same Plane movements” and 4 “Change Plane” movements.
In the Dance regarding Shiva, the Same Plane Motions are called: Forwards (F), Back (B), and Transquarter (T). This is because the Same Plane movement hooks up positions in the same airplane. So if you are at position a single, you can use the Same Airplane movement to connect to both 2, 3, or 4.
The Alter Plane Movements are called: Alter (C), Change Forwards (CF), Change Backwards(CB), and Alter Transquarter (CT). Change Airplane movements connect positions in numerous planes. So again, coming from position 1, you can use Alter Plane movements to connect to either A, B, C, or D.
Knowing that from placement 1, you can go to position a couple of, 3 or 4 see if you can find out which of the same plane motions takes you to 2, which is usually to 3, and which to be able to 4. (The same airplane movements are Forwards, Back, and Transquarter. )
Let’s assume that A is equivalent to 1, C to 2, C to three, and 4 to Deb. See if you can figure out which of the Change Plane moves will usually take you from 1 with a, from 1 to F, from 1 to T, and from 1 to help D.
Once you are confident about the movements and opportunities when using one arm during a period, you can often start practicing the Dance of Shiva by employing both arms together. When working with both arms together, most of us use a two-digit computer to describe the position and mobility of each arm.
We make sure to read this code from left to help right so that the left number indicates the position or movements of the left arm and the proper digit the movement and position of the right provider.
For example:
1-3 means that the particular left arm is in a single position, and the right arm is in position 3.
1-c ensures that the left arm is in placement one and the right provider in position C.
2-a ensures that the left arm is in placement two and the right is in position A.
F-CF ensures that the left arm makes a Forwards move and the right does a Change Forward proceed.
T-B means that the right nut does a Transquarter move and the right arm a reverse move.
Because each arm has eight postures, the Party of Shiva has sixty-four position combinations where the two arms are used simultaneously. Still, these positions are all comprised of the same eight building blocks. Therefore, knowing the positions one provides at a time, the positions where two arms are used are just the sum of the single arm elements…
